Wondering what brought me to meditate on charity? Well I just returned to Mark Driscoll’s blog http://theresurgence.com/ to properly link his comment when in less than 10 minutes it was deleted. Driscoll was explaining why he had pulled a certain you tube video off his site. No one had complained or been offended yet Mark felt his post was not charitable. So here I go to Dictionary.com to find out the exact meaning of charitable. (2)kindly or lenient in judging people, acts, etc.: charitable in his opinions of others. I don’t know how long his post was up on his site, but it was long enough for me to grab a new understanding of charity.

Love ya, Shari
